Descrizione della posizione aperta: Umana SpA is looking for a HR ADMIN AND RELOCATION SPECIALIST for the American School of MilanSCOPE OF THE JOBThe HR Admin and Relocation specialist is part of the HR Department and supports overseas teachers and their families throughout the entire relocation process to provide an exceptional end-to-end relocation experience and to help them adjust more easily to their new life in Italy. She/he is the main point of contact to listen, report and help solve the challenges connected with their move and their stay during the course of the employment relationship.This position provides a great opportunity to engage with people from different backgrounds and cultures, to develop a wide range of skills and to expand your network in a dynamic and diverse environment.KEY RESPONSABILITIESOnboarding Non-EU teachersLiaise with new hires, advice and assist them to make sure that while they are still abroad they produce the necessary documentation to obtain a nulla-osta to work in Italy and a visa to enter the country.Organize travel and shipping arrangements from the new teachers’ point of origin to Milan liaising with the school’s mobility provider. Support the HR Manager and the Orientation team to make sure that upon arrival of the new teachers’ airport transfers and logistics run smoothly and they feel safe and welcomedSupport the HR Manager preparing the induction materials/presentations and attend all the HR meetings happening during the Orientation week that the school organizes for all the new teachersLiaise with the external immigration consultant to make sure that once the new teachers are in Italy they obtain a permesso di soggiorno in the shortest time possible. This task implies collecting all the necessary documents from the teachers and other internal official documentsArrange clear communications to teachers and transportation from the School and back when they have to attend appointments at the Prefettura and Questura Personally accompany teachers to the Post office when they have to send out their documentation and to book appointments for fingerprintingArrange and attend appointments at the ATS offices to enroll teachers into the National Health SystemLiaise with the Business office to make sure that the new teachers set up a local bank account in time to receive their first stipendArrange for residency registration (through on line procedures or setting up appointments at the Comune)Teacher might arrive to ASM with their family members: most of the above requirements apply also to family membersHandle the renewal process of work permits, ATS enrollments etcEnsuring overseas teachers understand their benefits and how to maximize them, and act as point of contact to help address any issuesFor the off boarding follow the HR procedures and work with the HR Manager and the Business office to make sure that departing teachers leave the School and the Country without any pending matter or outstanding issuesManage HR documentation and archives with a digital mindset and a goal to move as much as possible from paper to paperless. SCOPE OF THE JOB

The HR Admin and Relocation specialist is part of the HR Department and supports overseas teachers and their families throughout the entire relocation process to provide an exceptional end-to-end relocation experience and to help them adjust more easily to their new life in Italy. She/he is the main point of contact to listen, report and help solve the challenges connected with their move and their stay during the course of the employment relationship.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

Onboarding Non-EU teachers

  • Liaise with new hires, advice and assist them to make sure that while they are still abroad they produce the necessary documentation to obtain a nulla-osta to work in Italy and a visa to enter the country.

Required skills and characteristics

  • Experience in administration and record-keeping
  • Rigorous attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • University level education in Humanities, Economics or Law.
